Two major items need to be considered for demonstrating the validity of the transfer function

  • Verification that the same mechanisms are involved qualitatively but also quantitatively

    Note: It is obviously assumed that protocols or conditions leading to excessive degradation of a component is excluded from the scope of this proposal. Because representativeness will be a key word of this project, the degradation must be consistent with real world ageing in terms of alteration caused to the components and also in terms of the quantified impact that should be measured on structure or properties, showing an increased effect for similar ageing time or a similar effect for shorter ageing time.Confirmation that real performance losses can actually be accelerated and also predicted

  • Confirmation that real performance losses can actually be accelerated and also predicted

    In this concept, linking developed AST with real world is considered as an effective goal if the outcomes of the work can actually result in a valuable exploitation for real world fuel cells such as a suitable prediction of stack lifetime, when submitted to real ageing profile.
